Hannover \/ M\u00fcnchen, 19. Oktober 2020 \u2013 Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge bringt den neuen Caddy auf den Markt. Die f\u00fcnfte Generation des \u00fcber drei Millionen Mal gebauten Bestsellers startet als Kombi, Familien-Van, Stadtlieferwagen und Camper durch. Erstmals basiert der Allrounder auf dem Modularen Querbaukasten (MQB), wie er auch im Golf 8 eingesetzt wird. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Mit dem MQB der aktuellsten Entwicklungsstufe halten zahlreiche neue Technologien ihren Einzug in die Caddy-Baureihe: Innovative Assistenzsysteme wie der \u201aTravel Assist\u2018 und ein neuer Abbiegeassistent erh\u00f6hen die Sicherheit und den Komfort; vernetzte Infotainment- und digitalisierte Bediensysteme machen den Caddy zum Smartphone auf R\u00e4dern; und das neue Twindosing wandelt die Stickoxidemissionen der sparsamen Turbodiesel in Wasser und harmlosen Stickstoff um. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Vorverkaufsstart war Mitte September: Version Caddy Cargo (Kastenwagen geschlossen, 2 Sitze) Caddy (Personenwagen als Kombi\/Shuttle und Familien-Van, 5 bis 7 Sitze). Modelle Caddy mit langem Radstand und California bestellbar Ende 2020, Markteinf\u00fchrung 2021.
    Der neue Caddy wird als Kombi und Van in den frisch konfigurierten Ausstattungen \u201aKombi\u2019, \u201aCaddy\u2019, \u201aLife\u2019, \u201aStyle\u2019 und \u201aMove\u2019 (Launch-Modell) sowie als Stadtlieferwagen in den Versionen \u201aCargo\u2019 und \u201aCargo Maxi\u2019 (langer Radstand) angeboten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00fcnktlich zur n\u00e4chsten Urlaubssaison erweitert ab 2021 zudem der ebenfalls neu entwickelte Caddy California (Reisemobil als Nachfolger des Caddy Beach; optional unter anderem erstmals mit Minik\u00fcche, Panoramaglasdach und neuem Zelt) das Spektrum der Baureihe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Je nach Version wird Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge dar\u00fcber hinaus auch die f\u00fcnfte Caddy-Generation parallel zum Frontantrieb ab Fr\u00fchjahr 2021 mit dem Allradantrieb 4MOTION anbieten; das gilt auch f\u00fcr den Caddy California. Als 4MOTION-Highlight und Nachfolger des Caddy Alltrack wird \u2013 ebenfalls 2021 \u2013 f\u00fcr alle Globetrotter der neue, eigenst\u00e4ndige Caddy PanAmericana auf den Markt kommen \u2013 ein Crossover aus Van und SUV. Im kommenden Jahr werden ebenso die Maxi-Versionen des Caddy (Kombi, Van) und Caddy California folgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
