Dies, obwohl die Messe selbst in diesem Jahr wegen der\nCoronavirus-Pandemie nicht stattfinden kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Die seit 1964 verliehene Troph\u00e4e<\/strong> \u00abThe Car of the Year\u00bb ist die prestigetr\u00e4chtigste und begehrteste Auszeichnung in der Automobilwelt. Eine 59-k\u00f6pfige Jury, besetzt mit Automobil-Journalistinnen und -Journalisten aus 22 L\u00e4ndern, k\u00fcrt den Preistr\u00e4ger aus sieben Modellen, die es im ersten Wahlgang in die Runde der Finalisten geschafft haben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Die Finalisten heissen:<\/strong> Citro\u00ebn C4, Cupra Formentor, Land Rover Defender, \u0160koda Octavia, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen ID.3 und Fiat 500. In diesem Jahr erfolgt die Wahl unter besonderen Voraussetzungen. Statt der sonst \u00fcblichen Auftaktveranstaltung zu den Pressetagen der Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) wird die Zeremonie wie bereits 2020 als reiner Livestream im Internet \u00fcbertragen. Die Organisatoren von \u00abThe Car of the Year\u00bb greifen dabei erneut auf das Know-How und die Erfahrung des Teams der GIMS zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 Denn die Planung als reine Internet\u00fcbertragung ist auch eine Chance \u2013 sie gibt uns ganz neue M\u00f6glichkeiten bei der Pr\u00e4sentation der sieben Finalisten.
