Die Maschine leistet 110 kW (150 PS) , das Drehmoment liegt bei 140 Newtonmetern. Auf einer Strecke wie Mugello (Italien) sind damit laut Ducati Geschwindigkeiten von 275 km\/h m\u00f6glich. Mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 225 Kilogramm unterschreitet das Moto-E-Motorrad die vom Motorradweltverband FIM und dem Veranstalter Dorna vorgegebene Mindestziel um zw\u00f6lf Kilo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Batteriepaket mit Carbongeh\u00e4use macht nahezu die H\u00e4lfte des Gewichts aus und hat eine Kapazit\u00e4t von 18 kWh. Die Ladesteckdose (20 kW) f\u00fcr das 800-Volt-System ist im Heck integriert. Der Ladevorgang auf 80 Prozent der Batteriekapazit\u00e4t dauert etwa 45 Minuten. Der Elektromotor mit einer H\u00f6chstdrehzal von 18.000 Umdrehungen in der Minute wurde von einem Zulieferer nach den Vorgaben von Ducati entwickelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Teilnehmerfeld des Moto E World Cups wird 18 Fahrer pro Rennen umfassen.
