Ich habe davon getr\u00e4umt, aber ich h\u00e4tte niemals gedacht, dass ich heute als f\u00fcnfmaliger Weltmeister hier stehen w\u00fcrde. Ich habe nie gedacht, dass dies passieren w\u00fcrde und ich bin allen, die mir dabei geholfen haben, hierher zu gelangen, unheimlich dankbar. Ich m\u00f6chte mich bei allen Fans daf\u00fcr bedanken, dass sie den Gro\u00dfen Preis von Mexiko zu so einem fantastischen Erlebnis gemacht haben. Und ich m\u00f6chte meinem Team ein Riesendankesch\u00f6n aussprechen. Bono hat im Funk gesagt: Die Weltmeisterschaft wurde nicht hier gewonnen, sondern durch viel harte Arbeit \u00fcber viele Rennen hinweg. Deshalb bin ich allen wahnsinnig dankbar f\u00fcr all die harte Arbeit Zuhause, PETRONAS, allen unseren Partnern und nat\u00fcrlich auch Mercedes. Ich bin seit ich 13 Jahre alt war bei Mercedes und es ist ein unglaubliches Gef\u00fchl, jetzt mit ihnen zu erreichen, was Fangio vor so vielen Jahren schon mit Mercedes geschafft hat. Das ist ein richtig unbeschreiblicher Moment. Das Rennen selbst war ziemlich schlimm. Ich hatte einen gro\u00dfartigen Start und arbeitete mich nach vorne, aber dann hatten wir mit den Reifen zu k\u00e4mpfen &#8211; sowohl ich als auch Valtteri. Ich versuchte nur, dran zu bleiben und das Auto nach Hause zu bringen. Ehrlich gesagt, bin ich einfach nur dankbar. Meiner Familie Zuhause, die ich liebe, vielen Dank f\u00fcr die Unterst\u00fctzung. Ohne all die harte Arbeit meines Dads und meiner Familie w\u00e4re ich heute nicht hier. Es war eine sehr bewegende Erfahrung!\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In seinem 226. Formel 1-Rennen &#8211; alle mit einem Mercedes-Benz Motor &#8211; gewann Lewis zum f\u00fcnften Mal die FIA Formel 1-Weltmeisterschaft. Damit ist er einer von nur drei Fahrern, denen dies f\u00fcnf Mal oder \u00f6fter gelungen ist &#8211; die anderen beiden sind Juan Manuel Fangio und Michael Schumacher (7).<\/p>\n<p>Lewis Hamilton beendete den Gro\u00dfen Preis von Mexiko auf Platz vier.
