Historischer Doppelsieg<\/strong> f\u00fcr Tom Booth\u2011Amos vom PTR Triumph Factory Racing Team. Der Brite entschied beide Rennen der achten Supersport\u2011WM\u2011Runde in Donington Park f\u00fcr sich und schrieb damit Motorsportgeschichte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samstagsrennen in Aufholjagd<\/strong>, nachdem er nach der Superpole\u2011Bestzeit auf Startplatz neun zur\u00fcckversetzt wurde. Bereits im dritten Umlauf lag Booth\u2011Amos auf Rang sieben und setzte mit 1\u201929.097 seine erste schnellste Rennrunde. Zehn Runden vor Schluss k\u00e4mpfte er um das Podium, nutzte eine Positions\u00e4nderung an der Spitze und \u00fcbernahm die F\u00fchrung bis ins Ziel \u2013 mit 2,4 Sekunden Vorsprung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sonntagsrennen mit intensiven Duellen<\/strong>, trotz Pole\u2011Position. Nach dem Start fiel er auf Platz vier zur\u00fcck, k\u00e4mpfte sich aber in einem engen Dreikampf mit Can \u00d6nc\u00fc und Albert Arenas wieder nach vorn. Ein Kontakt mit \u00d6nc\u00fc kostete kurzzeitig Positionen, doch Booth\u2011Amos konterte, schloss die L\u00fccke und \u00fcbernahm erneut die Spitze, die er bis zum Ende verteidigte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bedeutender Erfolg<\/strong> f\u00fcr Triumph: britischer Fahrer, britisches Motorrad, britisches Team \u2013 und ein Doppelsieg beim Heimrennen. Die Street Triple 765 RS, basierend auf dem Serienmodell und \u00fcber Jahre weiterentwickelt, best\u00e4tigte ihre Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
