Dominique konnte bekanntlich seine WM-Karriere sozusagen erst im letzten Augenblick retten. Der Wechsel in das im schweizerischen Tessin stationierte Forward Racing Team wurde kurz vor dem Saisonfinale im vergangenen November fixiert. Dominique Aegerter wird wie gewohnt mit der Startnummer 77 und dem Schweizer Kreuz auftreten. Sein Teamkollege ist der Italiener Stefano Manzi. Mit MV Agusta kehrt allerdings ein klangvoller und historischer Name in die Motorrad-Weltmeisterschaft zur\u00fcck. Die italienische Edelmarke wird Forward Racing mit Rolling-Chassis ausstatten.<\/p>\n<p>Der WM-Auftakt erfolgt mit dem l\u00e4ngst traditionellen Nachtrennen beim Grand Prix of Qatar am 10. MV Agusta ist nicht nur ein klingender Name, sondern hat auch eine grosse Geschichte im Rennsport. Ich bin daher unglaublich stolz, Teil dieses Projekts zu sein. Mit der Entwicklung des neuen Chassis wartet zudem eine interessante Aufgabe auf mich. In diesem Jahr \u00e4ndert sich in der Moto2-Klasse \u00fcberhaupt alles, da auch neue Motoren von Triumph eingesetzt werden. Diese haben einen etwas gr\u00f6sseren Hubraum und ca. 10 PS mehr. Meine neue Rennmaschine hat mir auf Anhieb gut gefallen und ich hatte auch sofort ein gutes Gef\u00fchl damit. Unser erster Test im vergangenen November verlief sehr vielversprechend. Hoffentlich spielt bei beiden Anl\u00e4ssen das Wetter mit, damit wir das Motorrad so gut wie m\u00f6glich und schnellstens weiterentwickeln k\u00f6nnen. Das Ziel f\u00fcr die Saison ist klar vorgegeben. Ein neues Projekt braucht immer etwas Zeit, doch wir wollen Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt zur Spitze aufschliessen. Daher nehmen wir zun\u00e4chst die Punkter\u00e4nge ins Visier und in weiterer Folge die Top-Ten. Ab Saisonmitte k\u00f6nnen wir dann hoffentlich den R\u00fcckstand zu den absoluten Top-Leuten weiter verringern und die ersten Spitzenergebnisse einfahren. Ich bin wirklich froh, dass ich mit Forward und MV Agusta meine Moto2-Karriere fortsetzen kann. Daher nochmals vielen Dank an alle Beteiligten, die dabei mitgeholfen haben.
